I applied for a job back in Sept 07 which I accepted, unfortunately when I started I was given a Data Protection sheet to sign, which I did. However on the form it said I was a temporary employee. In all the adverts there was no mention of the job being temporary and all my fellow co workers were under the same impression. Can you let me know if a company are advertising a job that is temp are they under a legal obligation to advertise it as temp? I did turn down another perm job for this job but even now 6mths after we are still being told they will let us know at the end of each mth, to no avail. I am anxious to know if there is anything I can do or say to the company as I am a mother of 3 and need to know where I stand. I would very much appreciate your help and advise in this matter, and look forward to hearing from you soon.
