We have a pregnant member of staff who is calling in sick at least twice every week.
I appreciate that there are issues such as morning sickness to account for this but the absence almost always falls on the same days.
I am unsure how to proceed as this could be a genuine problem with the pregnancy or an excuse not to come to work anymore.
How can I find out without being seen as discrimnating against her and if it turns out to be the latter what can I do to make sure the pregnancy is no longer used as an excuse to not come to work?
