Based in Belgium, Europe, Mieke has more than 20 years of industrial experience, including regional and global roles in managing operations, supply chain, HR and large change management in Fortune 100 company DuPont and has been involved in several of the strategic shifts within the company, including the entrance into new industries through Mergers & Acquisitions. She led the operational excellence and transformational change program in the EMEA region, for 4 years, resulting in significant financial value generation and a fundamental mindset shift in the entire organization.

As of 2014 she has been a global leader in DuPont’s consulting business. She travelled the world, acting as a strategic advisor and thought leader to industry leading global and international companies in multiple industries, such as O&G, chemicals, manufacturing, utilities, distribution, fast moving consumer goods, food industry. Her work is focused on strategic change journeys, focused on value protection and value creation, including multidimensional performance management, visible authentic leadership and employee engagement.

She has a passion for people and organizational dynamics, and has acquired additional skills and certifications in the area of Neuro Linguistic Programming, Personal Mastery, Coaching, Systems Thinking, Constellation Work, Neuroscience and Affective Psychology, Somatics and Trauma Therapy and is applying all these insights in her facilitation and transformation work with leaders, teams and organizations.

She is a thought leader, authored several articles and white papers (on KPI’s, Performance Management, the Human Factor in Industry 4.0, etc.)  and has been a passionate key note speaker in conferences across the globe. 

Her talent for writing has resulted in her first book – a novel based on systemic work – published in February 2017. The second one is focused on the challenge of the cultural integration and business performance of Mergers & Acquisitions – EMERGENT, The Power of Systemic Intelligence to Navigate the Complexity of M&A – and was published in December 2019.

She holds a masters degree in Economics/Engineering from the University of Leuven n Belgium and the University of Bilbao in Spain. She is fluent in 5 languages (Dutch, French, English, German, Spanish)
