Xavier Castañer (PhD, Minnesota) is Full Professor of Strategy at HEC Lausanne, the business school at the University of Lausanne.

His current teaching and research interests revolve around corporate governance, strategy and development, in particular alliances and acquisitions. He is also interested in organizational innovation and integration (design).

 

His work has been published in the Administrative Science Quarterly, Advances in Strategic Management, the Strategic Management Journal, the Journal of Management, the Journal of Management Studies, and the Journal of Cultural Economics. At present he serves in the Editorial Review Board of the Academy of Management Journal, Organization Science and the Strategic Management Journal, among others.
