The media is full of doom and gloom, they tell us "the money is starting to run out". Others commenting on our sector suggest training budgets are also being squeezed and only statutory requirements are being met. These statements may be true, but we have a hunch that attitudes towards training have changed and today they are different to those of previous downturns.
Is training still one of the first areas to feel the pain of the hatchet? Our current experience suggests training is being valued enough to ensure that decision makers still set funds aside for learning & development activity. We wonder whether there is a belief that as our staff have to work in ever more pressurised environments the role of training takes on a heightened importance. The need within organisations to support and look after their people appears more evident to us at iManage, as times get tougher.
We would love to test this out, carry out a short survey and report back to you with our findings next week.
If you are interested, here is a link to five quick questions.
Complete the survey and I will publish the findings on this blog next week.
As a thank you from us, you will also be able to enroll for free on our next virtual learning webinar:
5th March 2012 1300hr (GMT).
Duration: 45 minutes.
A new way of structuring your presentation.
A top secret presentation structure that will transform levels of engagement.
Objective: Show you a presentation structure that will help you to engage your audience. So it’s not about your delivery skills (they are still important). But it’s about the way you organise the content.
