Caption competition: And the winner is…

pp_default1

We had a great variety of entries to our latest caption competition! We have decided to crown David Cook our winner, with:

Linda looked uneasy as she realised the board had taken the term ‘grassroots business’ a step too far.

David will be receiving a bottle of either Spanish Red (Conde de Los Andes Gran Reserva 1999) or Australian White (Cape Mentelle Semillion Sauvignon 2006).

Some others that we liked:

  • Whilst his colleagues smiled politely, the ducks, with the subtlety of breeze blocks, raced over to take a closer look at John’s nose morphing into a desktop lamp.
  • Samantha was surprised – despite knowing that “dealing with bills” was part of the job description!
  • The next instalment coming soon…
