HRZone relaunch: A sneak peek at your new homepage

homepage-newsite

Not only will the new site look great, we’re also filling it with more quality content than ever before

It’s all well and good us making HRZone look prettier and easier to use, but our efforts would all be in vain if the content wasn’t up to scratch too.

We’ve got lots of exciting plans for features and new contributors in the coming months, but if there’s anything in particular you’d like to see on the site, let us know in the comments below.

For now, we’ll give you a brief overview of what you can expect from the new site once it launches on Monday 23rd February.

Homepage

In our feature earlier this week, we explained what you can expect from the new site navigation and categories, and now we can give you a look our new homepage and the key things to look forward to

First up, we’ve introduced infinite scroll to the site, so you’ll be able to browse through and find more of what you want to read; the site will just keep going, and going, and going…

We’ve also put a few suggested reading boxes around the site to tell you about what articles are currently trending, or what we’d like to recommend for you – hopefully you’ll find those helpful too.

If you haven’t found what you’re looking for, you can check the ‘More’ tab to see if it has the information you’re after, or ask our friendly community editor if she can help.

**Please note that when the new site launches on 23rd February your cookies for the site will not be carried over; if you had your username and password saved in the browser, these will not be stored and you will need to log in again. If you cannot remember your password you will need to click on the ‘I’ve forgotten my password’ link in the login area and we’ll send you a temporary password to log in with, you can then change your password to something more memorable!**

Content

Our features and blog page will still be packed with interesting articles, but we’re commissioning even more for once the new site goes live, so if you have a good idea, get in touch!

One thing we’re particularly excited about is a slightly edgier series of blogs we’ll be posting around the subject of things we all wish we could say about the industry, but can’t usually – expect some controversial perspectives!

As well as our features and blogs, we’re also very proud of the reports and whitepapers we have on the site – they’re a veritable feast of knowledge, and we don’t shout about them enough, so we’ve made the download process even quicker and easier for you; be sure to take a look!

We want to hear from you!

One of our main aims with this new site design was to put community at the heart of HRZone, and we’d love to hear more your of your thoughts and opinions on our content and the HR world in general, whether it’s in the form of comments on articles, replies to our tweets, discussions on our LinkedIn page, or a blog post about something important to you.

There will be more information about profile pages and the improved registration process later this week, so stay tuned!
