Join us for a learning and development special event

pp_default1
Our sister site, TrainingZone, is hosting a very special and exciting live event for L&D professionals, consultants and HR practitioners. Join us there for all the buzz on training.

The event has been developed based on feedback from TrainingZone community, and will consist of two days where delegate will immerse themselves in learning and development, exploring how training can have a positive impact on organisational performance.
Split into two separate streams (one for training managers and directors, the other for training providers and consultants), TrainingZone Live will provide delegates with the opportunity to explore issues and challenges they are facing within their organisation, taking away practical insight and advice to help them affect positive change within their organisation.

Star-studded line up

We’re delighted to announce that Yehuda Shinar is the latest addition to a line up of some of the training industry’s biggest names. Yehuda is a world-renowned winning coach who has been behind several sporting successes in recent years, most notably working with Sir Clive Woodward of the England rugby team, helping them to win the world cup in 2003. Both streams will be able to hear from Yehuda during his speech in the afternoon of the first day. And if you can’t wait for that, read our interview with him on TrainingZone.

As well as Yehuda, one day one both streams will hear from Charles Jennings, director of Duntroon Associates and former chief learning officer of Reuters. Charles will be opening the conference with a keynote speech: “From Plato to Socrates: The challenge of performance-centric training and development”.

On day two, both streams will be involved in a three-hour workshop lead by Jim Kirkpatrick entitled ‘Training on trial’, preparing delegates for the inevitable day when they have to effectively demonstrate the value of training on the bottom line of their business.

Small intimate workshops

We’ve purposefully limited the number of available delegate places to 100 in each stream, to ensure the workshops give delegates the chance to put their questions to the experts, take a hands-on approach and ultimately challenge and extend their thinking.

Some of the most respected names in the training industry leading the workshops including Jim Kirkpatrick, who will be delivering a workshop in the UK for the first time, Peter Honey who will be exploring learning styles and Deborah McGovern who will be focussing on Belbin Team Roles.

Don’t miss out, there are just 100 spaces available for each stream, so you’ll need to book early to avoid disappointment. Exlusive offers are available if you book before 31 March 2010:

Training managers / directors – book before the 31 March 2010 to receive an early bird discount.

Training providers – book before 31 March 2010

to receive a Premium listing in TrainingZone’s Training Providers Directory, a resource for over 23,000 training budget
