HRZone relaunch: Registration & user profiles

homepage-newsite

We’ve put community at the heart of the new HRZone design, so in addition to making the site generally easier to navigate and better looking, we’ve also done a lot of work on making the site as interactive as possible – we want to hear your thoughts on what we write, and we want to see some blog posts about the issues that matter to you too.

Not an HRZone member yet?

We’ve simplified our registration process for new members, including the option to sign in using your preferred social media account.

Once you’ve completed the registration process and verified your account, you will be able to log in and access your user profile page. Your profile page is the hub for any activity you have participated in on the site, whether it be comments, blog posts or features – it’s a handy way for you to keep up to date with any feedback you’ve had from other members too.

You can also list any networking information that you wish to share, such as your social links and website. Any personal information such as your job title and company details will be kept private. Make sure you upload a photo to your profile page – it helps make the site a bit more personal and friendly!

Existing HRZone members

When the new site goes live there will be some changes to your profile area and to the structure of your profile; any content you’ve created will be grouped under the My Content label, including comments, blog posts and notifications.

Whilst we’re migrating to the new site on Sunday 22nd & Monday 23rd February you won’t be able to post any new content to the site, but will be able to view any existing content as usual.

We’ve taken a very careful approach to all the great user content that has been created on the site. Everything that you’ve added will be there on the new site including your comments, blog posts and account settings. Once the site is fully migrated you’ll be able to make changes to your profile, post comments and write blogs to your heart’s content!

Please note that when the new site launches on Monday 23rd February your cookies for the site will not be carried over; if you had your username and password saved in the browser, these will not be stored and you will need to log in again.

If you cannot remember your password you will need to click on the ‘I’ve forgotten my password’ link in the login area and we’ll send you a temporary password to log in with, you can then change your password to something more memorable!
