Former UN weapons inspector, Hans Blix is to share his wisdom on management and how to cope with unrealistic expectations at the forthcoming Human Resources Forum.
Blix who is also an international law expert was famously once described as being ‘stuck being Iraq and a hard place,’ a reference made to the balancing act he had to perform when trying to satisfy the UN Security Council and the US military corp and its allies.
According to the Forum organisers, HR professionals stand to learn valuable lessons on how to deal with the impossible.
The May event is being held on board P&O ship, Aurora. Amongst other speakers are self-help and leadership guru Dr Stephen Covey and Larry Hochman, one of Europe’s best known futurist speakers.
