I am currently providing consultancy within the Training & Development Department of a large NHS Hospital Trust reviewing their approach and complinace with regard to Statutory and Mandatory Training.
Statutory Training is defined as training required by law and Mandatory Training as training the Trust requires.
We are looking for organisations which would provide us with suitable data for benchmarking purposes. The sectors which I believe would have suitable data are Banks, Insurance, Petro Chemical and other NHS Hospital Trusts.
Areas which I would like to collect data on are:
What is your industry sector?
How many employees do you have?
If you are based in more than one country, how many of your employees are based in the UK?
1. What topics fall within your mandatory and statutory requirements e.g. Health & Safety, Fire, Child Protection, Blood Transfusion etc?
2. How are these managed, centralised or decentralised?
3. How are these delivered and how often do employees need to be re trained?
4. How is compliance monitored, reported, how often and to who?
5. What levels of compliance do you achieve, what levels are you required to achieve?
6. What issues do you have with achieving compliance and what action have you taken that has made a positive difference to your compliance levels?
