Hello there, thanking you all in advance! I work for a dental surgery, part-time, after returning from maternity leave, where I used to work full-time. I work Wed – Fri all day. Therefore, I’m not affected by bank holidays, should I be recieving anytime off in lieu for this? Also, over xmas time (the week between xmas and new year) the full-time staff work on a rota which means they do 1 part-time day, and get paid a full weeks wages, yet the part-time staff do not get offered any work over this time, and get paid nothing. Are they in their rights doing this?
