One of our employees continued to work after his retirement 18 months ago and we put him on a fixed term contract for a period of 12 months for the first year. This was reviewed and we agreed to give him another fixed term contract this year, although we did state there is no guarantee of continued work after this date. The contract ends on 7th March 2007. I will be writing to him again soon but under the new Age regulations can we still keep him on a fixed term contract if he still wants to carry on working?
