Our company occasionally allows employees who have been absent for a few days, due to sickness or for personal reasons, to ‘retrospectively’ take those days as part of their annual leave. This benefits both the employee and the company, and we wouldn’t want to change it – but I was wondering if anyone else does the same thing?
And more specifically, our personnel software (Carval ‘Unistaff’) doesn’t allow a period of absence to be allocated to both sickness AND holiday, which causes problems when it comes to calculating remaining holiday balance. Does anyone have any software which COULD cope with this situation?
