I am planning to produce a document which will be used by personnel managers to coach line managers who don’t interview on a regular basis. The objective is to remind interviewers, as they go in to the process, to avoid stereotypical views/preconceived ideas they could have about what certain groups may have to offer in the workplace and via the use of appropriate interviewing techniques concentrate on competencies etc. I want to include what some of these prejudices may be.
I wondered if anyone who has done something similar would mind sharing it with me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks…
