Our contract states that our employees will be paid for the statutory bank holidays.
For those employed in England, Wales and Scotland this generally amounts to 8 per year.
We are opening a new store in Northern Ireland and from what I have read, there are ten bank holidays in NI.
I am concerned that our mainland staff will think it is unfair that their NI based counterparts have two more days off a year than they do.
Does anyone have any suggestions, similar experiences or comments regarding this?
