We employ 130+ people and run our own payroll for them. We also run another payroll for another company with only 5 staff. My FD has asked me to investigate what it would cost if we were to outsource this other company elsewhere, from the payroll to the bookeeping. I don’t want to contact companies for quotes at this stage as we just want a benchmark – so can anyone please give me an estimation of costs and how these are likely to be calculated, ie, per headcount, flat fee etc or any reference sources.
