I am working with a client at the moment who is looking to introduce a private health scheme, which covers annual optical and dental checks as well as providing access to therapies (eg physio and counselling etc) and appointments with consultants to deal with other medical problems, and then treatment.

Does anyone have experience of introducing such a scheme, and what benefits have you experienced – eg reduction in absenteeism, reduction in long term absence, improved morale, reduced staff turnover etc

Any information, positive or negative, will be greatly appreciated.

Also, any suggestions as to how and why you chose the particular scheme that you did would be helpful as there seem to be so many !!!
