Hi everyone,
I’d like to hear your ideas on what businesses should do about employees writing personal blogs – how do you stop them from embarrassing the company?
Organisations are in danger of causing major problems for themselves by not having a firm policy in place for dealing with employees that write about them / their jobs in personal blogs – defamation, misuse of the company’s intellectual property, embarrassing the company – so what should business do to deal with this growing trend for writing blogs and are you in danger of annoying your employees by infringing on what they see as their rights?
I’d love to know what you think for a new HR Zone feature.
If you’d like to email me, my address is Sarah Fletcher. Alternatively, please post a response here.
Much appreciated.
