Last Thursday an allegation of bullying was made by one of my production operators against a Shift Manager. A statement was taken from him to kick start the investigation.

Since then, other names have been identified as being witness to this bullying, and as such we are having to speak to these individuals as well as the Shift Manager himself. Due to shift patterns, this will not happen until this Thursday coming.

I have recently been asked whether I should have suspended the Shift Manager, on full pay, pending the investigation completion. Any views?
