We have lots of employees who travel abroad and who then get sick (some cases are genuine, many are not and are simply used as a means to get additional holiday)and as a result, they return late from holiday.

We are looking at many ways to reduce the number of employees doing this as it causes us huge problems operationally.

If we clearly advise the employee before they travel that they must ensure they take the relevant vaccines before they travel, and if they subsequently fall sick and we discover they have not taken any vaccines prior to their travel, can we carry out disciplinary action?
