We are currently in the process of changing our management strucutre in one area of the business, we are proposing to combine the Team Leader and Team Manager roles and call them the same, doing the same job.

This poses a problem in terms of existing salaries, some of our longer serving TMs are on substantially more than our new TLs.

Does anyone have any experience of a similar situation and could a TL potentially bring about a claim for Equal Pay in the future if there is no change to salary structure?
