I have concerns about one of my staffs general health and wellbeing. Although she has not had many days absence and has not ‘triggered ‘ the companys absence procedure I would like to contact her GP to clarify her general state of health. She has had a number of unrelated problems from stress to neuralgia to Diabetes..? and I am concerned that she is not being entirely truthful. Rather than wait until she starts to take time off, I would much prefer to be pro-active and nip it in the bud. I understand that we have to get her permission to contact her GP, maybe just asking her for this will be enough to get her to ‘open up’ and get to the bottom of things…..
