We have a young employee who is coming into the office on Monday for a discplinary meeting in connection with his absence from college, work and general timekeeping.

He has told his site manager that after the disciplinary he will be going to the doctors to get a sick note for depression. He said it will give him a couple of months to get another job.

His site manager doesn’t want this mentioned at the disciplinary meeting as it was said in “confidence” – any advice on this one please.
