I have been approached by several of my employees over the last few days regarding the situation with their pay in relation to the extra day this leap year.
Their thinking is that, because they are working an extra day due to the leap year, that they should be paid an extra days pay this month or that they should receive a day off in lieu later this year.
Does anyone have any advice they can give me in relation to this and what they do in their organisations? Any recommendations would be gratefully received as its a bit of a tricky one!
