l left my old job and my employer subtracted my sick days frm my annual leave entitlement. this was okay as l ddnt have a sick note. however they calculated the rest of my annual leave as follows
from january 22 to the 31st of january when l was sick they they multiplied 9 days by 9.5hrs (the hrs per shift) and got 85.5 hrs and took all these from my annual leave. however lm not sure if this is the right way as l am only contracted to 40 hrs per week. are they allowed to calculate all those days including weekends or do they just need to take away 40hrs from the week l did not work?
