We (a non departmental public body, funded by the MOD) are looking at the possibility of providing post interview feedback on interviewing skills and performance to panel members.

Initial reactions of some have been that it is not a good idea. Unsuccessful candidates are less than likely to provide meaningful objective feedback after being turned down for the job “they know was made for them”. However, it is a subject that just keeps cropping up at management meetings and won’t go away.

What I need is some sound advice? Does it work, does anyone do it? Etc etc
