We are a small company of around 20 employees. Currently we operate an informal flexible working policy where we consider individual requests for flexible working as they arise. We would like to look at implementing a formal policy for flexible working, to avoid what might appear to be favourable treatment to some employees and not others. Specifically flexitime, compressed working weeks, teleworking and offering career breaks are some of the areas we have considered. It would be helpful to receive any information anybody is able to offer on their own flexible working policies and the benefits this has brought to their organisation.
