My husband is dyslexic. He started a job a year ago and the majority of the training is done by completing modules that are sent away for marking by an independent person. To date he has done 3. When he joined the employer no reasonable adjustments were put in place and only recently some of the adjustments recommended by access to work were implemented. His manager has accused him of plagiarism saying that he cheated on the first module by copying sections from other websites. He doesn’t deny that he did this but he was left to get on with the module with no help, didn’t know what to do and quite innocently didn’t know that he was doing anything wrong.

He has now been informed that there will be a disciplinary hearing and if he is found guilty of gross misconduct he could face instant dismissal.

Has anyone any thoughts on this? We are really desperate.
