With paper manuals, nobody takes ownership, there is no audit trail and most aren’t read anyway.
With the internet, few people visit the right sites and can rarely find the right documents.
With e-mails, people delete before reading or just don’t read them….
Have you heard of the “CONFORM” system which helps with the creation, dissemination and distribution of these rules and regulations? It has the ability to prove (beyond doubt) that policies and procedures have been received, read and understood and gives an overview of every person, department, branch or overall company and the state of “compliance” with those rules..
Anybody else heard of it?
