We have a member of staff who is frequently late (30 mins to an hour) and usually due to oversleeping.
He has had several informal, formal, verbal and written warnings however these are not having any effect. We have tried talking to him on a personal level which has produced a temporary improvement however in the long run appears to have done not much good.
Does anyone have any suggestions of how to deal with this? Ideally we do not want to let him go, especially in the current economic climate.
Your input would be appreciated.
Also, does anyone know what the law states about the amount of time written warnings stay on file?
Thanks in advance.
