My daughter has worked for a legal company for over 2 years as an Office Junior (with no T&C ever given). The company have now issued T&C to all employees (even those with a contract) and there are one or two things which I have never seen before.

They state that in the event of summary dismissal for gross misconduct the employer reserves the right to pay the sum of £1 (one pound) in lieu of any accrued holiday pay to which you may otherwise have been entitled.

They can relocate them anywhere in the UK at 1 months notice (temporarily or permanent)

They are also stating that without prior written consent of the employer engage, whether directly or indirectly, in any business or employment outside your ours of work for the employer.

They also state that the T&C set out supersede all previous verbal or written agreements with the employer.

Are the new disciplinary & grievance procedures contractual.

Many thanks
