We have an employee who is currently on maternity leave.  She is taking 6 months out of the possible 9, and is over 4 months into it.  She is a popular and missed member of the team, and she has been in to pay us brief visits and to allow all the women to coo over her newborn.  However, we have made several attempts to invite her in for her KIT days and important meetings, all without success.  We are concerned that time is running out, and there are a lot of changes going on at the moment in the business.  How can we get her to commit to come in for at least one of her KIT days?  We do not want a situation where she is restarting but it takes a lot of time and resource to get her back up to speed.

Any advice gratefully recieved – thanks.
