We have an individual who has been in sick for the last 8 consecutive weeks. We have, with the individuals consent, obtained a docotors report which indicated an unknown period of continued sickness. It has been advised that the individual should on return to work carryout light manual duties, with no extended peiords of time in anyone position or posture. As we work in a manufacturing environment, we feel this may not be a possible option. Does anyone have any ideas about which direction we could now take?
