For my CIPD management report, I am looking at how employers manage the return to work of an employee, after an extended period of absence (e.g. maternity leave, long-term sick leave, sabbatical leave). The aim is to look at what employers can do, to ensure the employee is productive and efficient as quickly as possible once they are back at work.

Does you know of any companies who have good procedures in place for managing this return to work?
