My friend is currently on maternity leave and has asked me for some advice. Before she went on maternity leave, they had a temp in to cover her role whilst she was off. The temp has given 1 months notice and they could potentially be restructuring department and possibly making her role redundant. She wants to know how she stands with her maternity pay and what are her options. I have not come across this before so didn’t want to give her wrong information, any advice and guidance would be greatly appreciated
