My wife was the branch manager of a small company. The week after announcing her pregnancy she was suspended due to a shortfall in petty cash. At the end of discplinary action she was dissmissed and then, on appeal, all charges against her were dropped. She was 8 months pregnant when her name was cleared and was not offered nor would have been able to return to work. Was the action of this company legal?
