Our Credit Control Supervisor will be going on maternity leave in 9 weeks time. Against my advise her manager and one of the directors has employed a Credit Control Supervisor on a full time permanent basis.

Obviously she is very upset as she has not stated if she will be returning to work (as she has every right not to do so at present).

How as a company do we stand legally on this? She has worked for the company for 2 years and feels like walking out, which I can understand but have advised her not to do.

Any help and guidance on this issue would be greatly appreciated.
