Having a bit of a mental block with Maternity Leave.
As a company we advise staff at the beginning of a holiday year (runs April to March) how many days will be deducted for our Company Shutdown. We have a lady who will potentially be on Maternity Leave over Christmas and is already saying she will obviously get this holiday back.
What is best thing to do from Company perspective as surely if we pay her holiday during Statutory Maternity Pay it will affect it?
Also when it comes to Bank Holidays do we pay her as normal or give her day in Lieu, or indeed give her option.
