Currently all employees who need to attend a medical or dental appointment during working hours are permitted to take 1 hour paid Medical / Dental leave (up to a maximum of 5 appointments in a rolling 52 week period). Any excess time required is to be taken as Annual Leave.
Employees have now requested for this to be increased. I feel that the company are very generous with the current allowance but I would like to benchmark what we offer against what other companies offer so that we can either review or support our current allowance.
Any feedback would be much appreciated.
