We have a member of staff who was eligible for Occupational maternity pay. She had declined this as she did not intend to return to work after her OML/AML. As such, her post was advertised and filled. Now, 1 month before her AML is finished and her contract due to be terminated along with her contract she has changed her mind and wishes to come back to her old job.

Has anyone come across this before?

We have notification in writing that she did not intend to return.
