Hi Everyone
During the last year we have introduced our staff to alternate methods of developing their skills such as Individualised learning(self paced using various resources) & Experiential learning(on job, coaching etc.) as opposed to the traditional ‘going on a training course’.
We are not opposed to staff engaging in formalised training, however we believe there is real benefit in considering other options for addressing learning needs.

Have others also adopted this approach and promoted & encouraged other learning methods within their businesses, and if so how did you get the message accross?
