We have a number of employees enrolled on NVQ’s. They are required to have their line manager sign their evidence sheets attached to their submissions. One particular student whom I beleived had her sheets signed by her line manager, in fact had her sheets signed by our groups overall manager – who is the mother of this student. They have different surnames which is why, I guess, the college and the awarding body have not so far picked this up. Is this either ethical or legal? What do I do now with this information as I feel it might devalue NVQ’s awarded via our workplace.
