Hi, the company i work for relocated 2 weeks ago to an out-of-town site, about 7 miles from our original inner city location.

We were informed about the move, via email, about 4 weeks in advance.

Some employees don’t drive and there is no quick public transport which means a 50min journey from the city. The people who take public transport still have a 15 min walk along a single track road, and one of these employees is partially sighted.

The company has offered no solutions to these employees and have not renegotiated contracts etc. It has doubled my travel time and fuel costs.

Our contracts do not include a mobility clause so i was under the impression the company should have renegotiated our contracts and/or offered redundancy, is this correct?

We have had no feedback from the company regarding all these issues which have left us all in a worrying position.

Any advice on what we are entitled to would be very much appreciated.

Thanks.
