Is the employee’s consent required each time you need to contact a GP? I have an employee on long term sick and would like to re contact the GP to ask some different questions. I already have the employee’s consent from the original request.

If it was for a different illness or condition then I would expect that I would have to re ask for consent, but am not sure when it is in relation to a pre exisiting issue.
