Since A day, we have had a number of requests by staff who want to make extra contributions to their pension. Some have said they want to do it through salary sacrifice and because the employer saves NI they would like the employer to contribute the NI saving as well to their pension.

If this were a common activity done by most employers then we would probably do it. Yet we are wary that we have heard of very few who offer this approach.

Does anyone do it? And does anyone have the knowledge of roughly the number of employers who might contribute the employers NI?
