Having carried out a risk assessment on a pregnant employee, we are concerned that her current role as property agent will cause stress and other difficulties during her pregnancy.
The employee has requested a desk based role until she takes her maternity leave, and the company are happy to accommodate her. However, what happens on her return to work. We have stressed that she will return to her orignial role and she has agreed to this.
I am worried that by offering her an alternative role before maternity leave, she is entitled to return to that role…
