Some of our employees work a 37 hour week whilst others work shifts and average a 34 hour week over 17 weeks. I propose to introduce pro rata holidays for all full time staff ranging from 25 days to 33 days. Can we allocate holidays to full time staff on a pro rata basis and can the statutory 20 days holidays be included in this calculation or can we only pro rata the proportion of holidays that is over and above the 20 days.
