We have a member of staff that has been off sice the 26th October. they had originally stated that they had been signed off by their doctor until the 10th November. We requested that they send in a copy of the doctors certificate and keep us informed of any extension to this leave. We also already have all of this included in our contracts of employment. We have as of yet heard nothing from this employee despite letters being sent asking them to contact us. Does anyone have a copy of a warnign letter that we can use to start formal disciplinary procedures against this member of staff. Also where do we stand with dismissing this employee if they continue to not follow our procedures.
