Any advise on what a person should do if they were interviewed and then offered a permanent role which they accepted only to be told after that “for budgeting purposes” it will be a 12 month contract.
At no point during the recruitment process were they told it was a fixed term role but have been told that it is a permanent role. Is it ok to get something else in writing to confirm that conversation? What rights does that person have now that they have verbally accepted that position?
